Soristic – Who We Are, Where We Come From

Soristic – Who We Are, Where We Come From

Social Connex is an initiative organised by Soristic that aims to raise awareness and facilitate collective impact on social issues in ASEAN that are aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

As part of this, Soristic will be organising a panel discussion on the topic of unconscious bias to explore its causes as well as the steps we can collectively take to address it. Though we may not notice them, our biases are an integral aspect of our thought process as they help us to streamline and cope with the flood of information that we are exposed to everyday. However, these biases are not always accurate. Thus, they can also contribute to the marginalisation of certain groups and inhibit the development of a truly inclusive society.
