Bridging Profit and Purpose
Organisations that integrate corporate purpose as part of business are resolute in producing profitable solutions to the problems of people and planet, and not to profit from producing problems for people or planet.
When organisations put purpose first, they enable and empower people in the communities where they operate, resulting in happier customers, a more motivated workforce and sustainable organisations with lasting legacies.
Let’s make goodness the business of every organisation, and pave the way towards a better future together—becoming the City of Good.
Meet the Organisations of Good
Adriana Lim Escano is the founder and CEO of Abry. Through the Company of Good, she discovered ways to institutionalise goodness into her business, such as through hiring and procurement policies.
Partnerships bring impact. United by their belief in sustainable living, Unilever Food Solutions partnered social enterprise The Social Kitchen to bring plant-based brand The Vegetarian Butcher to Singapore.

Together, Singapore Cares
This year we would like to invite you to be part of “Together, Singapore Cares”, an SG Cares Movement supported initiative, as part of National Day celebrations, to champion the Singapore Spirit of doing good in the community. This initiative is a joint-collaboration that includes the SG Cares Office, the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre, the National Council of Social Service and many other corporate and community partners.
Businesses play a big role in building a City of Good. As part of the national SG Cares movement to build a more caring and inclusive home, it is now easier for businesses to give back to society through volunteerism and partnerships with the community with the improved Business and IPC Partnership Scheme (BIPS). Through BIPS, businesses can enjoy a 250% tax deduction on qualifying expenditure when their employees volunteer and provide services for IPCs.
Visit IRAS for more information on tax-related queries.
