Manager, Philanthropy Collective

Job Description

To support the Philanthropy Collective programmes in a way that creates value for direct users and stakeholders. The portfolio will take an integrated approach across NVPC and includes Private Advisory, Philanthropy Circles and Value Creation workshops.   This job contributes to the efforts to support the enhancement of the non-profit sector, which ultimately helps to grow a culture of giving in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategy for the Private Advisory within the philanthropy ecosystem
  • Engage with key stakeholders in the philanthropy ecosystem to implement the strategy and adoption of services
  • Establish Philanthropy Collective as a major actor in the ecosystem through engagements at major platforms and networks
  • Engage with non-profit leaders to develop volunteering opportunities for philanthropists and their families
  • Developing a strategy to scale the circles within the philanthropy ecosystem
  • Developing a pipeline of impact solutions through the implementation of existing programmes that is the foundation for the work at Philanthropy Collective
  • Design and implement programmes to achieve the deliverables
  • Facilitate group discussion and workshops to surface key outcomes

Requirements

  • A University degree or similar accreditation
  • At least 7 years or more relevant working experience
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize information
  • Knowledge of non-profit sector strategy development approaches (e.g. Theory of Change, Logic Model, etc)
  • Exposure to design thinking and other strategy development methods
  • Knowledge of the Philanthropy or banking sector, and non profit sector
  • Ability to design and implement programmes
  • Ability to facilitate small group and large group discussions
  • Good project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
