Lead/ Deputy Director, People & Corporate Services

Purpose of Role

The primary purpose of this role is to work with the Director, People and Corporate Services to design, develop and implement strategies and initiatives to enhance the organisation performance, efficiency, and effectiveness. The role will also double up to provide leadership for the key functions including HR, Finance and Operation & Admin and ensure that their initiatives, policies, and processes align with the organisation strategic growth and direction.

Job Description

  • Collaborate closely with Internal key stakeholders to strengthen the corporate culture, processes, and systems.
  • Develop and Implement strategies to enhance the organisation performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all policies, procedures and guidelines stay relevant, comply with legislation, and strong internal controls are in place,
  • Design and Implement programmes and initiatives to enhance the leadership competencies for employees.
  • Work with HR, Finance and Operations Teams to ensure that their initiatives align with the organisation strategic growth and direction.
  • Ensure the day-to-day operational activities of the organisation runs smoothly and effectively,
  • Analyse complex issues and develop solutions in the form of plans and strategies,
  • Prepare management reports to update Leadership Team, Committee and Board,
  • Oversee and manage the Team’s budget and Risk Register,
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members,
  • Responsible for the development for the team members

Requirements

  • At least a degree, preferably in major of Business Management, HR and/or Finance
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experiences in organisation development, change management and/or learning & development.
  • Strong Supervisory and Leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with a good sense of urgency in a dynamic and fast paced environment,
  • Initiative-taking, assertive, people-oriented and driven,
  • Well versed with Corporate Governance, Employment Act, Accounting Standards and Workplace Safety & Health Act will be a plus.
