As part of stewarding the City of Good vision for Singapore, Company of Good is a programme under the Corporate and Industry Partnership (CIP) division that connects organisations to do good strategically, sustainably and impactfully. Through its initiatives, like-minded organisations can learn, network and collaborate for good.

Since its inception in 2016, Company of Good has connected more than 2,000 organisations do good in different forms. With the impetus towards Corporate Purpose, NVPC has announced a refreshed Company of Good strategy that is now offering an exciting opportunity to help cultivate a future where every organisation in Singapore is purpose-driven – striving to make a net positive impact on society, across environmental, human, social and economic dimensions.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for the candidate to be part of a team to cultivate a purpose-driven future with the businesses. The candidate should share the belief that corporates can be a powerful force for societal good for Singapore.

Programme

Fellowship – 12-week programme designed to nurture Corporate Purpose practitioners across the Commercial and Public Service sectors, and Institutes of Higher Learning. The programme is aimed at helping participants internalise the why, what and how of purposeful ecosystems to equip them with the know-how to spearhead change to support their organisations in articulating and activating purpose.

Online Resources – A roadmap with online resources/case studies on COG portal for corporate partners to access and do self-guided learning. The aim is for our partners to understand the fundamentals of Corporate Giving and Corporate Purpose, learn best practices and be pointed to resources and training providers for additional support.

Desired outcomes

  1. Increase knowledge of Corporate Giving and Corporate Purpose amongst corporate partners
  2. Encourage more corporate partners to be active members of COG
  3. Build capabilities within our partners to enhance their Corporate Purpose
  4. Enhance CIP’s capability to guide corporate partners effectively in enhancing their corporate purpose

Responsibilities

  • To support Capability Development’s Team Lead in drafting case studies for self-guided learning for corporate partners and internal capability development in the CIP department
  • Develop journey map for Corporate Giving, and Corporate Purpose for SMEs and LEs/MNCs
  • Co-develop interactive online learning on NVPC portal with the Marketing & Advocacy and Digital Innovation team
  • Support in outreach and communications with potential Fellows in preparing for Fellowship Intake 7

Requirements

Candidates with the following skill sets and characteristics are preferred: 

  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications or Product Design
  • Able to communicate and good writing skills. 
  • Able to multi-task and manage tight deadlines.  
  • Able to pay attention to detail. 
  • Team player; responsible and able to work with minimal guidance or supervision

Internship Period

We are looking to hire an intern who is able to commit between May – July 2024. Minimum 3 months & above
