Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Specialist

Core Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective SEO & link building strategies
  • Manage all search engine optimization and marketing activities
  • Coordinate images & content, optimize copy and landing pages for SEO
  • Track, report and analyse website analytics, SEO initiatives and campaigns
  • Research and analyse to discover competitor SEO keywords and page quality
  • Research, discover and expand keyword opportunities for paid and organic search
  • Work with tech team to ensure that the best SEO practices are properly implemented
  • Work with content teams to implement SEO keywords in content creation and programming
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

Requirements

  • Degree or similar accreditation, preferably in Business, Marketing or other relevant field
  • Proven SEO experience
  • Experience with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript development and Constraints
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search enginer algorithms
  • Up-to-date with latest SEO trends and best practices
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Open to learning, as well as giving and receiving feedback
  • Comfortable with complexity and working with a high degree of uncertainty
  • Ability to mutli-task and deal with changes
  • Passion for the non-profit sector
