Team Information
The Marketing & Advocacy team’s role is to safeguard the entire branding of NVPC and its various programmes and initiatives, as well as to push for and raise awareness of existing and new programmes and initiatives. We actively help to promote the mission of NVPC so as to work towards the vision of the entire organisation.
Projects
As NVPC has a wide range of events targeting different target audiences, the intern can expect to learn various skills in the areas of events planning, management, and event marketing support. Events would include President’s Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards 2022, SG Cares Giving Week 2022, Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2023, and other ad-hoc events. The intern would also be given opportunities to design and develop marketing collaterals to promote the various events.

Responsibilities
Intern #1
- To assist in the event management planning and operations for SG Cares Giving Week 2022, Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2023, and other ad-hoc events
- Marketing support related to events and collaterals – Videos, Brochures, Slides, Banners etc
- Assist in on-site event preparation
- Assist in procurement
- Invitation to guests (follow-ups with calls and email reminders, and to collate final numbers)
- Liaison with the performers and vendors
- Logistics preparation (e.g. work with event management company) & provide admin support to event and logistics related matters
Intern #2
- To assist in the event management planning and operations for our inaugural President’s Volunteerism Philanthropy Awards 2023 and other ad-hoc events
- Marketing support related to events and collaterals – Videos, Brochures, Slides, Banners, etc
- Assist in on-site event preparation
- Assist in procurement
- Invitation to guests (follow-ups with calls and email reminders, and to collate final number)
- Liaison with the performers and vendors

Requirements
- Minimum polytechnic/university level doing events management, tourism, business, or related fields
- Comfortable with being on the phone
- Some design background would be preferred
Internship Period
6 months from Immediate – December 2023
