As part of the drive to attain NVPC’s vision of a City of Good, the Company of Good initiative was established in 2016 to help companies give better. Companies engage in Company of Good to understand their giving profile, build their knowledge, capability and network, and partner with other like-minded businesses to do good. The Company of Good network has grown to more than 1,200 corporate members since its inception.

With the upcoming new developments in the Company of Good, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate, driven individual who has the right purpose and aptitude to create impact to serve community and societal needs at a national level. This person should share the belief that corporates can be a powerful source of support to build greater social resilience for Singapore.

The incumbent is responsible for driving the success of strategic, sustainable impactful corporate giving initiatives amongst organisations. In particular, he/she would be responsible for planning and implementing the Actions for Good and Collaborate for Good initiatives. Actions for Good aims to bring together stakeholders from various and respective ecosystems to integrate and enable giving to become daily encounters for both individuals and businesses, and to facilitate system-level impact. Collaborate for Good, similarly encourages businesses to partner and leverage on their key strengths so that their doing good efforts can scale and be more sustained.

To be successful, the incumbent must possess a “can do” attitude and is willing to take on the challenge of rallying and collaborating with others to create new ways to solve complex and interdependent problems. 

The candidate should have a flair and appreciation of the roles, dynamics and interactions amongst different stakeholders in an ecosystem. He/she should also be versed in acquiring and maintaining multi-lateral relationships with partners, and have excellent stakeholder management skills so as to align complex and potential competing interests, aspirations and actions in the sector. We are looking for an experienced professional who is proactive, strong in project and resource management and possesses desirable leadership qualities.


  • Research and study opportunities for strategic and innovative doing good partnerships amongst businesses and other stakeholders
  • Provide inputs, feedback and recommendations on improvement to the strategy, structure and processes of the work
  • Develop and produce materials and business proposals to socialise and obtain buy-in from stakeholders
  • Acquire and cultivate potential partners to collaborate together on corporate giving initiatives that are strategic, sustainable, scalable and impactful, and in line with COG’s objectives and goals
  • Facilitate discussion and negotiation for the formation of potential partnerships and relationship building amongst stakeholders
  • Project manage timelines and resources towards desired outcomes
  • Document and report back on the progress, outcomes and impact of work


  • University degree
  • Minimum 4-5 years of working/ relevant experience.
  • Experience in business development and market development with abilities to socialise ideas with businesses to obtain buy-in for partnerships
  • Experience in developing business proposals,  presenting ideas with success, cultivating and facilitating multi-lateral win-win-win collaborations
  • Experience and ease in engaging high-level business people to generate and align interests
  • Experience in closing deals and hitting sales targets
  • Experience in account managing and relationship building with businesses
  • Knowledge of the corporate sector and/or the not-for-profit sector
  • Strategic planning and analytical capabilities
  • Highly organised
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal / relationship building skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and develop strong strategic partnerships
