Centre for Non-Profit Leadership

Team Information

CNPL transforms the non-profit sector through effective, committed and passionate leaders. We nurture leadership capability through our integrated solutions of sourcing, developing, and aligning – serving non-profit leaders in Singapore with our signature programs of BoardMatch, COMPass, and Pulse Check.

Board Match is CNPL’s flagship programme to bring diversity and rejuvenation to Boards of non-profit organisations (NPOs). It matches senior executives with at least five years of management and leadership experiences from both the public and private sectors to the Boards of NPOs.

Pulse Check is a self-assessment process for non-profit boards to strengthen their leadership capacity. It invites Boards and the Executive leadership team to reflect upon developmental next steps to enhance their overall effectiveness.

COMPass is a personalised leadership development programme targeted at Executive Directors/ Chief Executive Officers of NPOs. It enables organisational leaders to better understand and hone their competencies in running a non-profit organisation.

Strategy Track

Facilitated by Bain & Co, the strategy track workshops consist of 2 interactive sessions developed for Board Chairs, Board Members and ED/CEO/GMs to collaboratively develop a clearer strategy and monitoring plan for implementation. Post-workshop, this will be followed by strategic conversations/clinics (co-facilitated by Bain & Co and CNPL) where the participants can share their challenges and insights, to explore how they could apply the learnings within their organisations.

Leadership Alumni

An alumni network comprising of members that co-create solutions and catalyse change for the benefit of others. These members are made up of participants from the ACE Leadership Capstone Programme for Non-Profit Organisations, Social Leadership Singapore Programme, and ToteBoard Overseas Scholarship Programme.

Leaders’ Lab

Leaders’ Lab is a platform that brings together people who experience and face similar concerns,  created with the aim of addressing various pertinent issues faced by non-profit leaders. The aim is to foster better relationships amongst those in different sectors of the non-profit landscape, stimulating new ideas and the spirit of collaboration.
